PERSPECTIVES IN THE US

Studying abroad is a good opportunity, especially for those aim for an academic career in Brazil. Brazil  has been through an impressive economic and scientific growth.  However, it is far behind its real potential. Improvements in the realm of education and scientific development can only take place through focus on human resources. International networks and collaborations are an essential part of a comprehensive program that  will allow Brazil to reach scientific standards found in countries as the United States of America.

This experience will enrich my interpersonal communication skills in many backgrounds and will make me more qualified to my current and future academic career.  Since I have started my professional and academic life, I would like to be outstanding to come back bringing technical knowledge , allowing new approaches and perspectives that will enrich the research environment in Brazil.

I believe that improve skills as an English speaker and writing is very important in an academic career, one time that all the more relevant scientific journals are written in this language, so this improvement will facilitate my access to scientific community also a support for a productive career.

I believe that every knowledge and skills acquired in the USA, is going to contribute to local development in my country and the growth of the Brazilian Industries. This experience will firmly established the grounds of my academic career, and I will  contribute not only for the industrial environment, but for the Brazilian Education, as the future research and teacher that I want to be.
